Any recommendations for an online trading account to buy US listed shares? I can find plenty who allow low cost trades in UK listed companies but I fancy a dabble in some US listed companies?

Cheers

www.selftrade.co.uk £12.50 flat rate commission. According to their website they trade -

You can trade current leading equities in 18 international North American and European markets:
New York, NASDAQ, Toronto, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Zurich, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Vienna, Luxembourg, Brussels, Dublin and Lisbon.

I've been using them for the last 5 years (but not for US deals) and they haven't got anything wrong (yet!)

I've had a Charles Schwab http://www.charlesschwab.co.uk account for years. Very fast, easy online trades.

You can talk to them in the UK but in my case the account sits in the US and is in USD.
