Networking in Wiltshire

A question for those of you in Business to Business sales.

I'm looking to find out the best ways of networking in my territory. I'm not talking about Business Breakfasts or BNI meetings as i'm not self employed or running my own business.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you're doing B2B in a certain market sector, write some regular and relevant news and send it to a few of the sector's industry publications. Try to build credibility as an "expert" and then attend a few local conferences as a guest speaker. Once your name is around, you will be seen as a serious player and referral business will start to come your way.

I have heard that Ecademy.com is good. Some members do the breakfast thing, but others simply share leads, ideas, etc, over the web.
