Cheapest Way to buy Domain Names?
Discussion
I need to buy a few domain names. What's the cheapest way to do this? (If the cheapest possible isn't neccesarily the best then I'd rather go down the reasonably priced and good quality company route, if you see what I mean).
Any advice much appreciated as it's been a couple of years since I did this last and I'm sure the market has changed a lot.

Or through here: www.geistdesign.co.uk (£2.59 a year for .co.uk! Go ahead and book a load!)

Just a reseller of a reseller of a reseller no?Indeed but for .co.uk I've not seen cheaper. *for .com there is cheaper. If you want hosting; I use www.startlogic.com - their ProLogic package is crazy value

Jamie, I run a site which gets super high database queries; to the point it crashes a lot on my current setup. Does your co' have any dedicated server packages that could handle it?? I need a dedicated server that I can pref host a few sites on and fully manage also.
Let me know. Thanks mate.

Nice, their home page took 21.63s to load. Fantastic value if you want your customers/visitors to get bored and go elsewhere.LDNrevs said:

I use 1&1 but they have recently increased .co.uk's from £1.99/yr to £2.99/yr
I think godaddy are cheap but probably are american, not that it matters. I assume this because I have only ever seem them advertise in dollars, from memory their prices in $'s are similar to 1$1's are in £'s - if that's the case it's nearly half the price with the exchange rate.
You could check out www.acorndomains.co.uk if you want to a domain already registered.
