I have a house within the Green Belt and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

I currently have planning permission to demolish the existing house and replace it with a 'Potten Home' (One of these timber framed 'kit homes' popular with self builders) I have no interest in building a Potten home as I believe the plot is so good, there are better, more individual options available.

Does anyone know an outstanding Architect (don't mind paying top dollar for the right person) who has had PROVEN experience of gaining planning within Green Belt AND AONB areas?

Thanks

Jason

You say you want to go more induvidual than potton, I though they offer a full customer system, of design etc?

You could try Design and Materials?

Thanks Adam, however also need some carefull advice around the Green Belt / AONB issues to maximise the size of the house on the plot (on Greenbelt, you are unable to increase the footprint of the existing dwelling)

There's plenty of more options around than timber frame potton houses, and you should be able to achieve permission in a difficult area. We've almost finished the demolition and building a replacement house, The Beach Hut, as below, (the one in the background!)in a sleepy town on the Devon coast, which happened to be Conservation Area, AONB and Jurrasic Park.......

Approach the RIBA, architects's governing body, or www.architecture.com, or pm me for more details.
