I want to start providing some promotional merchandise for one of the businesses. Ideally items such as -

- Mousemats
- Mugs
- Baseball caps
- Fleeces
- Polo shirts
- Keyrings

I've been looking at various companies but they all seem to want big orders of each item (250 minimum order per item) and in reality I really want to start with smaller volumes so that I don't have to worry about keeping large amounts of stock or laying out lots of cash immediately.

Does anybody know of any companies that might be able to help with say minimum orders of 50 of each?

Thanks

Davel

There are loads of companies around that will do small runs of embroidered garments.

I've just had a load of corporate workwear made, minimum order was 6 items.

We used Stellar / PC Owen for a very very small order. 2x fleeces and 4 x polo shirts. We were very happy with the quality / prices of the fleeces etc. It did take a little bit longer than we hoped, I guess that is the trade off for small runs.

Check in the back of Exchange & Mart for a few pages of promo merch companies.. also, depending on your approach - you can use an online fulfillment merchandise company - basically there is no stock - you design your garms online and when someone orders one it gets made: CRAP for making profit but GREAT for the odd one off garm for promotional use.

There are quite a few companies like this (most USA) but one has a Europe base:
www.spreadshirt.net
www.cafepress.com (the famouse one / USA)

I've made stuff using all of the above methods and none have failed.
