I am using the FT portfolio tool to value and track a portfolio of managed funds being suggested by my financial adviser. She has given me the various codes for the mutual funds but none of them pop up by name or when searching my the number/symcol she provided.

Is it that the FT doesn't have a full list or is there some trick to the numbers/symbols? They are mainly Standard Life (e.g. 0433082). Mellon Newton (e.g. 0677857) Capital (e.g. B01BF17) and Resolution (e.g. 0330150) products so I thought they would be there???

you are using http://funds.ft.com right? I found your funds right away using that......

Financial advisor you say? I never really understood why people used them. Do enlighten...

Looks like the FT site works on Mexid rather than Sedol.

As for the financial adviser: I have a day job where I advise people with less experience what to do and my FA does that for me basically ( I hope!).
