I need 2 New Transit 115-350 Jumbo Size vans in Silver. Lead times of 12+ weeks are being quoted! If anyone can help sooner please let me know. A deal is waiting for you... Thanks. 3 year contract hire inc maintenance.

Contract hire = NO Capital Allowances claims allowed by your business.

I'm sure you knew that smile

I can try and find out, although I suspect those vehicles will be factory orders and not something a dealer keeps in stock, hence the lead times.

This is the first time I have not purchased something outright, but the grief of paying unexpected maintenance costs all the time has pushed me this route.

Eric, I admire your knowledge and attempt to read many of your replies to others on here, but most of it goes over my head! By the way where are you based, I am on the look out for a new accountant smile

Farnborough Hampshire.

Because leased assets remain the property of the leasing company, it is the leasing company who will be able to claim the Capital Allowances available on the assets you are using.

You will still be able to get tax relief on SOME of the costs associated with the leased vans - but probably not quite as generous as those you would get if claiming the full Capital Allowances available.

Bought a couple of Iveco Daily LWBs from these chaps a couple of years back http://www.vansdirect.co.uk/

Purchase price was at least £3k (each) cheaper than I could find from the local dealers smile

Right, I've had some responses back.

The earliest I could get you vehicles in Silver would be Mid Feb, which probably doesn't help too much.

However, if you'd consider white, I've found a couple that have literally just been registered and could be available to you in a very short while. We can sort out the Contract Hire easily too.

Thanks,

James
