HMR&C Mileage rates..

Hi Guys...

according to the HMR&C website mileage rates have been the same since 2003!

Don't know how much fuel, insurance road tax have risen since then, did read something that said fuel had risen 16% this year.

Has anyone seen anything to suggest when these rates will be reviewed, or do I assume it's another cynical ploy by the powers that be to make driving as uncomfortable and expensive as possible?

I think the argument goes something along the lines that cars are cheaper to buy now so that balances out the crap mileage allowance.
