husband and wife - retired
both draw state pension
husband dies
leaving wife ONLY with her pension

So is the husbands pension dead too - isnt the wife due anything from the husbands state pension for the rest of her days?

Isn't their a widow's additional supplement? This should bring the widow's state pension up to the full state pension - on the assumption that she wasn't already receiving the full state pension.
