Not sure if this is the right place.....

I'm looking for a vinyl cutter and advice on the way to go, I'm not looking to do anything major or set up as a new business - just a few decals for friends/self and probably a couple of things every now and then on fleabay.

My questions are......
1. Would it be sensible to go for a 'larger width' cutter
2. Any particular brands I should favour
3. What should I look for in a cutter
4. Does anyone want to offload their old cutter ;-)
5. If I want to print up a couple of T-shirts can I cut the logo on a vinyl cutter?

Any advice/help would really be appriciated.

I have a Roland PC600 printer & cutter (all in one) that is possibly surplus to requirements...

It's a thermal ribbon printer that can also print white and special colours like gold, silver etc. Bought new approx 3.5 years ago from Signmaster Systems who are a Roland dealer and it also has loads of new ribbon cartridges and a good selection of vinyl supplies too.

It is perfect for short run print stuff, stickers etc and I've put it to good use in the past producing stuff for Porsche Club GB etc.

Email me if you are interested or want to know more - ollieATfireboxcreateDOTcom

Great minds and all that....
I have been considering the same project, please continue with your feedback even if MB450 is sorted.
