so, had enough with finding new quotes for this, will need a new policy by the end of the month.

had loads of messing about from insurers so far and have just thought.

is it a legal requirement?

never had a use for it other than paying it every year.

and so far today ive had enough of insurers.

Employer's liability?

What type of insurance are you talking about?

its alright, bit of a rash moment i had finally had enough of biz insurers

public liability, professional indemnity etc etc.

I got a few quotes, 2 close to each on price, providing the right cover, called the cheapest, went through an hours worth of checking to make sure its all covered, girl goes "hold on a min" comes back a few mins later with a 30% increase in cover as somthing that was agreed to be covered wasnt and now it costs more.

cue phone being put down and me calling the other.

i spend about the same amount of time checking everything (bare in mind i have been wasting hours on this last week making sure its all OK) and what happens, bloke on the phone puts me on hold for 5 mins only to come back and raise the quote!

the original post was a flipant one straight after being messed about by the 2 insurers.

finally sorted it, even if it is legal to trade without insurance I dont think I would trade without insurance, my customers are worth more than that.

I have used Pace Ward Financial (brokers) for years, call Jeremy Pace (fellow PH'er and petrolhead...although he drives a girly AMV8!!) on 01782 286 311

They do all our Prof Indemnity, Combined Liability, Employers Liability etc etc business insurance.

Cant recommend them enough

Tell him Mosi sent you smile

Although I usually plug my own brokerage on here I can confirm that Jeremy is a good egg and complete petrolhead.
