Shipping Containers - anyone use/supply/purchase them?

I have an idea involving shipping containers. ANyone on here have experience using lots of them in terms of cost / selection criteria etc?

I have an idea and need to research end use a bit.

Up here, about £800 ish plus delivery

Mainly market issues, such as purchase / lease costs for 20ft and 40ft containers and some idea of demand. I have had a couple of emails (thanks) which I will reply to off the board.

We rented a new one for around £1 + vat per day about 4 months ago with no minimum contract from a company in Essex (can't remember their name off hand)

We simply use it to store clients stock and it is fully secure with padlock covers. We simply added £25k contents insurance through our insurers - only proviso is that we keep it locked!

Had a choice of colours and it looks like a good one (as far as I can see). From order to delivery 3 days and I've been very happy so far.
