As the title says, any good recommendations for leasing a vehicle on contract hire?

And can you put your personal plate on contract hire vehicles?

What sort of vehicle?

I think a number on here are involved in leasing through various dealerships etc. I was offered some cracking deals, and then refused contract hire in case I used a Porsche as a taxi rolleyes

Leasing companies sure love us taxi boys hehe

Hi bigTee,

There are plenty of good car leasing companies such as my company.

http://www.1car1contracts.com/specials.asp
http://www.flexxilease.co.uk/

etc...

and you are not allowed to put your personal plate on a contract hire vehicles as it's not your property. It will be in the property of car leasing company, unless if you can buy a car outright or get the car on HP then you can put your private plate on the vehicle. smile

Cheers

hehe

To be honest. Unless you're doing mega miles with them, leasing with a full maintainence package is such a hassle free way to go yes

Just don't give them to 22 year old sales reps or you'll be paying excess wear charges for brakes, tyres and clutches all over the place. I speaketh from experienth wink

Hi BigTee,

http://www.skyfleetltd.co.uk/ are good - had a couple of vehicles through them.

However, I’ve heard that http://neva-consultants.com/ are pretty decent also.

Cheers,

James

I got my 325i through Neva (south coast office - dealt with Justin).

www.contracthireandleasing.com is the best place to look - The Google of contract hire!

confused Yes you can put your private plate on a car on contract hire. It is just a bit of a hassle for the broker so most say you cant. Once you have decided who to go with find out what funder they are putting you with and speak to them directly. But I can assure you that it can be done.

Its not that much hassle you just have to put the nominee as the finance company when sorting it out.
