Hi All,

Does anyone have any opinions regarding good financial software for a fast growth start up (plastic goods manufacturing & distribution). I have plenty of forecasts on various spreadsheets, but wonder if there is a useful product for me to link all the various data, including forecasts, p&l, cashflow, stock, sensitivity analysis, in multiple currency, etc (suitable to prepare reports for a prospectus for investors, as well as everyday needs)?

Any help appreciated.

Phil.

In brief depends on many factors, such as what are you looking to achieve (analytics, MI reporting or planning?)Strengths of your IT and finance functions and the budget you have available

I assume as you mentioned the words finance and planning something like Hyperion (Essbase) could fit the bill

In the main it allows you to connect many different data sources and also overcome some of the limitations with excel

cheers

We use SAGE Winforecast Professional at work (Accountancy Practise) when we model forecasts for clients. I believe you can get a free trial from their website.
