Employment (Redundancy) Question
Discussion
Hi,
A regular here by a different name, question for any employment law bods out there
I know that the statutory redundancy payment is £330 per year of employment for employees of two years service or more which my employer is agreeing with
But if in your contract it states that an employer has to give a weeks notice for each year worked (over two) for termination of employment can they still make you work this (rather extended) period (amounting to several weeks... double figures)rather than pay you off
many thanks
