Bit boring..however I need an book about online marketing. PPC, SEO, Adwords, Affiliate stuff, the usual.. Anyone recommend author/title?

Not sure if it is the best, but eMarketing eXcellence by PR SMith and Dave Chaffey is pretty good. On Amazon here.

would avoid mailing lists, had some company email me about their special offers on an old email - not so different from my username that has died under lots of spam. Guy reckoned people would rely on such a professional looking name, he got reported to isp and lost his account for some reason.

I never buy anything from spammers

the website mentioned looks good

but always wondered why traders register the whois as:-
Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service. and then goes on to list it on the site, Don is either a trader or he is not a trader

Hi Scraggles,

I haven't requested to be ommitted from WHOis, perhaps a setting when I originally set-up the account with the registering firm back in 1900 and frozen to death.

I am most definitely trading.

The one I recommended above is the one which goes with the CIM e-Marketing qualification, not sure they do another one specifically.
