Fleet management

Hi folks - I'm currently looking for a solution suitable for a fleet of cars & vans of around 40 vehicles to track: vehicles, driver's, mileages, lease costs, VAT treatment etc.

As we move forward we may want to import fuel data but that sort of thing would be in the future.

The only solutions I have seen so far are vastly complex systems suitable for hauliers & leasing co's that are obviously very expensive. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of software for a small fleet?

Have you approached Thales for a quotation for this type of service? For that number of vehicles and requirements they should be competitive.

Thanks - is that the same thale that do defence systems?

I think we are going to knock up our own database now. We have fully maintained lease vehicles so there is no difficult maintanence element to think about.
