HMRC £100 on line submission thingy P11/P35
Discussion
Am I right in thinking that HMRC allows £100 this year for submitting online P36 and P11/P11D?
I hope so because I have deducted if from what I have paid them. Do they automatically know it is £100 short for online submission because I couldn't see anywhere on the P35 where you could record what you had done (tried the tax free incentives field but it just added it on).?

The P35 should have a spsce on it to allow you to show the fact that you are deducting your On Line filing £100 credit.
I couldn't see it Eric, certainly didn't see it expressed in those terms (which is why I tried in the tax fre benefot field to start with). I just showed the £100 as having been paid to HMRC and the site deducted it from the final amount. I suspect they will send me a bill for £100 if I should have put it some where in particular?Tuscan Tart said:
Did you file online for 2006/2007?
If you did you can deduct £150 from the amount due to IR for tax year 2007/2008, I use Iris and there is a box for online filing incentive, which deducts from the amount owed.
I did, but again I just deducted £150 from the last PAYE payment. If you did you can deduct £150 from the amount due to IR for tax year 2007/2008, I use Iris and there is a box for online filing incentive, which deducts from the amount owed.
