Staffing agency costs

How much might I expect to pay for unskilled admin staff to cary out a fairly simple data input task?

I need 15 people on 4 different occasions (so 60 people days) and I am being quoted £9.02p an hour. Does that sound about right?

Thats pretty good.

Last quote I got 4 or 5 years ago was for about 50p more than this.

Once you add up the sick pay, holiday pay, people who quit with no notice, don't turn up etc etc, the interviewing, the advertising, the employers NI etc, the flexibility of the agency staff will win out on that kind of money.

Agree - I have recently paid £13 per hour + VAT for data input temps

In fact to organise that many people on very short term projects, £9 is bloody good!

Mind they did try to charge me £700 a day for the PC suite!
