Having recently started in buisness I'm wondering who is the best contact for this kind of credit check.I have one or two prospective clients who are strangers to me and obviously I'm trying to limit my risk as much as possible.

Cheers

We have a very comprehensive reporting / credit checking system in place (it cost us £thousands) have a look at http://www.geminidebtrecovery.com/credit-check-new... we can offer you a decent discount on the advertised price so PM me.

I used to produce some of the data used to create these in a role with a company rhyming with "wExperian". There are different levels of reports available, showing everything from current debts, size/length of payments overdue, director info, previous trading names etc etc.

There are lots of companies re-sell this data, some more legitimately than others (many buy the info without permission to re-sell, but do...most are eventually caught out as "dummy" info is included as part of the bulk deal to each company who buys the full-set...resellers bewarewink )

Creditsafe.com do a very good & cheap (about £400 per year, unlimited checks) system. Pulls together data from several places.

Creditsafe are good but watch your contract period as they try to tie you in for 2 years. I get unlimeted reports for £200 + VAT.

I was going to change to http://www.checkit.co.uk  as they look better but i had been tied into a two year deal on the sly.

I also now creditsafe's website to be www.creditsafeuk.com

If you just need 2 reports for now pm me the company details and ill emial you the reports
