It has been a while and I know the rules have changed a little.

What do I legally need to put on the website and headed note paper of a new company division using a trading name.

i.e. company x is a division of xyz ltd. etc.

Thanks

V.

I'm sure you need to put the registration number of the parent company on letterheads and somewhere on the website, unless the company that is a division of has it's own registration number. We do this quite a lot for our clients when printing letterheads and producing contact info on web pages.

1. Company Reg No
2. Registered office

You'll want to put your trading address and contact details on regardless I'd imagine.

You can have "XYZ is a trading style of ABC Ltd" or "ABC Ltd trading as XYZ"
