Isnt slate by its very nature waterproof though?

Wouldnt this make it enormously difficult to dye?

Not sure if I understand the request. It sounds like you want to apply a transfer or colour a slate tile(s). If so, try a company called Harlequin: 01268 761116 - they might be able to help.

yes he's a roofer
