Not meaning to be gloom and doom, but interested in the definition of a depression, when does a recession become a depression?

I don't think there's an exact length of time, just a prolonged recession

Time to take out unemployment insurance?

When Santander took over abbey they made it clear that they would be centralising their IT function, so i took out unemployment insurance with Abbey (at a discounted rate being an employee) in case Abbey made me redundant. Which oddly enough they did, so i claimed £1500 off them until i got a new job :-)

I liked the irony in that a lot.

Another early start again and who said running your own business was ever going to be fun smile
