We are starting to gather an awful lot of mobile phone numbers on our system, which we've used for a couple of generic ad campaigns - we've sent out a voucher, and a handful of messages saying 'thanks for using us, don't forget we're awesome' type messages.

What I would like to do, is develop that into a database where we can put timed campaigns together. What I'd really like to do is be able to check the database every day, and send the correct messages (a different one for a new customer, one after 30 days, 60 days, 90 etc etc...). It would be great if we could develop the database into email addresses and home addresses too.

The software either needs to be capable of printing the mail merge, sending the emails, or sending the texts. If it can't send the texts I really need it to export the daily lists of numbers into an exel file so we can send it out by txtlocal smile

Hope someone has some recommendations thumbup

Well, my recommendation is to not do text marketing, as an end user it pisses me right off!

Our end users seem to like it. Every time we send one out, our turnover jumps smile

I can help with generating email lists and capturing data, this can be exported via excel and imported into an SMS supplier.

I know of a better solution than TXTLocal - www.mavcast.com

You can send SMS and multimedia marketing, vouchers etc - much better system.

I have a mobile marketing company myself, but it would probably be to expensive for what you need.

It's not just making a list. It's more a case of wanting to tweak that list, place follow up dates that can be searched, type of customer, age, location etc etc. Probably need to store around 10,000 records initially.

Have you tried Goldmine, used it many years ago and it did the job although we never used it to it's full potential but was, at the time very user friendly.
