Hi there,

Running a sole-trader web design outfit.

Once a year - every client will be due to pay for hosting.

Apart from where I succeed in asking them to set up a Standing Order - is there anything out there that can help with issuing e-mail reminders to the clients at the right time?

I'm sure something like Sage might well be able to do this as a part of its functionality - but I'm ideally after a dedicated product - a really 'light' application.

If Outlook could've been deployed for this purpose, that would've been fine. Not sure it can, though?

The clunky solution would be for me to use the Outlook calendar to remind me to issue the e-mails or phone calls. The client population would grow on average by 200 every year.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Arif

Wow!

Nice one dude.

1) Trust there to be a product out there to answer my need

2) Trust a fellow PH'er to know about it!

Nice one.

(Any further solutions still welcome, of course)

Arif110 - have a look at the prices on that per clients you need...

Can do you a Microsoft Access database* that will
a) be cheaper
b) customised exactly to your needs, will send emails/sms etc

drop me an email smile Proven with some of the biggest companies in the world- current client is the worlds largest Hedge Fund!

(Can do c# .Net app if preferred but Access sounds ideal for your situation)
