website permissions advice needed
Discussion
hi
I am in the processing of planning for a website I want to create. The site will need to show pictures of products. Also, I want to have a broadbrush review/overview but would ideally like to use existing info to create these.
Do i need to get permissions from the manufactures and publishers? if so, how is this best approached? How much scope is there for analysing more than one review to form my own 'opinion'? I wouldnt be pretending to do a full and detailed review on my website, just summarise the key points that are widely agreed on by others such as quality, ongoing costs etc
the cost of setting up the site is worrying enough so i dont want to find myself being politely asked to remove my website or worse!
thanks in advance
