Hi All,

We have been offered what seems like a good deal on a credit control service by this company:

http://www.cpa.co.uk/

Anyone used them and can recommend?

Many thanks in advance

Well in another post I stated I also got totally ripped off and nearly ruined (high 6 figures) by Tax Assist so-called accountants, and that didn't get pulled.

There are so many sharks out there in business land I think it only fair that, in this forum anyway, we warn others should we be asked.

Either of these outfits are more than welcome to contact me through here should they wish to take my comments further.

They won't.

Not a problem, but I'm happy to say what happened here.

The slick (self employed agent I think) salesman assured me we could take advantage of their service whilst using invoice factoring.

So we subscribed and paid them.

A couple of months later it turns out we couldn't, and they kept our money.

It was many (8?) years ago, so they may be completely different now.

I'd ask the salesmen if you could speak to a couple of his other clients, for a reference.

thanks Richard, the word 'slick' could certainly apply to the chap we saw. Hence my post really!
