Hello,

If the mods could leaved this here for a bit that would be grand.

The company I work for currently get our plastic mouldings done in China, but we're looking to get them manufactured in Eastern Europe.

Does anyone have and dealings with any companies out there? A long shot but worth a try!

Out of interest what make you considering moving the process to Eastern Europe from China as I'm thinking of having some parts make over in China.

Hi, Alec

Also interested why you are moving to Eastern Europe from China, as we are a molding factory in China, and we have several customers from Eastern Europe.

Thanks Mandat YHM!

We've been looking to move production for a while for at least some of our products due to "not having all our eggs in one basket" as well as some communication problems!

Sorry to drag up an old topic but was just wondering how you got on with this, if you did actually move from china to eastern european one, as im looking at getting some parts made myself.

We've had plastic parts made and tools made all over the world. We use a fairly local company in the UK for a lot of work now. Quality and price can't be beaten. Ex hornby people. PM for details.

Only just checked back on this, whoops!

We didn't move manufacturers in the end as our manufacturers in China started corresponding better, now they are at it again!

So once more I'm left in the situation of trying to source another manufacturer of tooling, and doing runs of the tooling.

The initial rationale behind eastern europe was if things were going wrong it's far easier to hop across to "iron out creases" than it is to get to China.

Any further thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
