I need a services contract reviewed - ideas?
Discussion
Morning all,
I have messed about with the idea of having my own business for a while. I have had everything in place, including contract templates written and so on. Over the past week there has been a growing possibility of a very good contract, for consulting, in the Far East but I will be UK based. While the contract I have has been reviewed by a lawyer ‘friend’ I really do not want to mess this up, so I need it reviewing by a professional and changed to suit the geographical location.
Can anyone give me a recommendation for this? Also an ‘idea’ of how much it will cost. I would have no idea if I was being taken for a ride,
Thanks all,
Laterz Dudz

You might need to specify the country. You probably need someone familiar with the legal code in that country (unless the client will accept uk jurisdiction as a part of the deal).

English and Welsh law is different to Scots law and I suppose Northern Ireland may have different law also. You may need to clarify/check that wording.
The United Kingdom encompasses England, Scotland, Wales AND Northern Ireland.
Great Britain does not include Northern Ireland.
England and Wales has identical law. Scotland and, to a lesser extent, Northern Ireland does have its own legislation in specific areas.
