Does anyone know how much the disposable lights are trade?

Not the electronic ones but the ones with the annoying flint wheel that hurts when your hands are cold and come in a variety of colours.

Any pointers will be appreciated!

I bought a pack of 6 at a pound store last year so I'm guessing the wholesale price is not a lot. Ebay have a section for wholesale lots. Might be worth a look.

Cheers for the replies guys, I just had a thought, 'why not sell these straight to the retailer as they market them around 50 - 65p each.

Any owners of off-licences, newsagents etc whom can shed some light on how much they are buying them in for and their mark-up.

We don't seem to get those guys anymore. The pound shops must have killed off their trade.

I get mine for £3.60 (+VAT) for 50 from a local cash & carry (about 9p each)

Some get sold to customers, some get given away and some get "borrowed" by the staff who smoke wink

Probably because the cost of postage and dealing with a single supplier for such a low value item isn't worth the hassle. Probably more efficient to pay 25% more and buy from a wholesaler monthly along with bog roll etc.
