'Watts up'? No, I couldn't possibly - could I?

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
We're setting up a new electricians company and struggling to think of a catchy name, don't want to go with an acronym or something gay.
Lord help us. Ok, so I've asked him too and he's not talking to me since that whole incident with the uncontrollable laughter in the church during mass. So I implore you, the PH smartest advertising people in the land of car forums - help. Please. Pretty please, or I'm rolling with something 'shock'ingly bad, and none of us want that.
Merci.

When you say company, do you mean a proper company with a few people and a office? Or just a one man band setting up on his own?
I'd just go with his name followed by 'electrical services'. For example - 'Lucky 13 Electrical services, or 'Lucky 13 Electrical installations and services'
Unless it's a big company and you're gunna plug the advertising and marketing, it's probably a bit gimmicky and unnecessary to have a funny name.
Most good tradesman get work through word of mouth.

Hello.
You want to think about what you want to stand for as an electrician - for example, prompt service, high quality, technically advanced, no-nonsense, local tradesman.....lots of ways of positioning yourself versus the rest of the market. So think about how you'd like to be thought of, just make sure you can deliver it and that it's competitive and relevant for your audience. To really make this powerful, think about what's important to your customers, and not just in terms of electricians, but in their lives, homes, people they trust. Then things will start to slot into place. Doing this will actually help you identify what service(s) you can offer for people. So get out and speak to a people; ask them about their homes, what they do when they need work done on their home, how they manage this, where the stresses are etc
One you've done that, start thinking of names and imagery that support it. So, if you want to be seen a a high-tech solutions sort of electrician, maybe it's Matrix. Or if it's local service, then maybe name yourself after a local landmark. Or friendly, quality, caring service for people who really care about their homes could be HouseProud. Or if you think it's about being on time, then Chrono Electricians. Or if it's no-nonsense, then The Electrician Company. Or if you uncover that people are fed-up of estimates never being accurate, then think about positioning yourself with a menu pricing scheme and finding an identity that supports that.
These are a little obvious, but hopefully help illustrate the approach to naming. Start with your audience (and make sure that it's a real, big audience, not a small, cool niche one that won't deliver the volume of business you need).
Then you can always use a pun like "Give us a buzz on 0800 XXXXXX" on the side of the van!
HTH.
Edit to add - make sure it's something that works online and doesn't accidently send people to hard core Russian porn (though that may work for some)!
