hi all, new business venture looking for a one driver policy on a 44 ton vehicle, only slight problem is no hgv no claims bonus.

does anyone know any brokers/specialist that could help out?

Ask to speak to Richard he has looked after me on many occasshion's.

Was also a very good price also with them for GIT and even added my car free of charge to my policy .

wizzbilly, is git a min £100 per ton? could you please explain a little about what goods in transit insurance covers etc ?

Depending on what line of work your doing , can email me if you want addy should be in profile.

If your just looking to sub contract traction then the GIT will just have to cover what the haulier requires.

Most require minimum of £1000 per ton and covers the load in the event should it go missing or your trailer is stolen etc.

Most of this is coverd in the oporator's cpc or it used to be .

Oh and to add you must be mad even thinking about this haha.

i only realy dealy in european work so could be a little out of date on the uk regard's to insurance but that's what it was around 6month's ago .
