Any landlords on here buying a 3D TV to show SKY Sports?

I'm seriously looking at doing it, just wanted to know where you have bought or going to buy your unit from?

I've seen a few at a reasonable price but they all seem to be out of stock.

Any advice welcome.

I thought Sky were providing the TVs as part of the deal? Or is that only to selected locations?

Sky are providing the TV for £1200 including 100 pairs of glasses.

I've seen them for around £700 new Samsung. All out of stock.

If you already have the ultimate package as I do then the only charge is the TV and glasses.

Arm+Leg usually wink
If you see a tv in a pub that doesn't at some point during an hour, display a white pint glass on screen somewhere, they're probably not paying for a proper pub contract wink

Depends, Its based on the rateable size of the building.

A fking fortune, so much that many pubs barely cover the cost of it with the increased revenue from drinkers during matches and I know that quite a few Greene King pubs are actually removing it for that reason and also to remove the 'football hooligan' elements from the place.

It does as stated depend on the size of the place, I remember my boss telling me how much a busy pub in central London paid per month and it was staggering, I can't for the bloody life of me remember how much it was though!

Was in a large pub (room for about 150 people on a match day) couple of b&b rooms and a function room.

Guy was paying £800 a month for his sky subscription.

No idea what package that was though.

I thought it was huge. I see some pubs around here are advertising they have Sky HD. Im sure Sky see it as another way to bump the fees up.
