PAYE end of year return

Having paid my staff for March, I foolishly got on with P60s and P35. Having done it all on the Employers CD-Rom, I just checked the totals with what I had paid. Oh st they don't tally. Checked all my figures and could not find any mistakes, checked again, after 2 bloody hours gave up and phoned the help line.
Oh yes there is an error in the fking CD-Rom. We are going to send out a letter.

I then had to phone the IT help desk to get a sodding patch downloaded and the that talked me through it the first time told me the wrong thing and then hung up when it did not work.

4 fking hours of being an unpaid tax collector so this dum arsed goverment can piss it against a wall.

Tax is fking taxing.

And you have no option but to do it electronically this year.

And they'll fine you if YOU get it wrong.

Try 2Pay payroll software?

Very cheap, very easy.

Not great for hundreds of staff, but works well for me just having a few bodies to pay.
