Another quickee....sorry to be a pain !

This is the termination clause in a new fixed term consultancy role I am going to take as a LTD co.

I need some help on the clause below. Does it mean I have to give one months notice and the company employing my services, can terminate immediately?

"The consultancy (me) may terminate the Agreement on the provision to XXXX (the company I will work for) of no less than one months written notice. XXXX may terminate the Agreement immediately on the provision to the consultancy of written notice".

It is supposed to be a fixed term 4 month consultant role.

Thanks in advance.

To me, that reads that you've got a lop-sided termination agreement.

You have to give 1 months notice to terminate, they don't (its instant). I'd renegotiate that so thats it's 1 month from either party.
