Storage space costs

Just very roughly, does anyone have an idea how much warehouse space is, to rent (preferably in an existing warehouse so a short term "all-in" arrangement rather than a proper lease) Bucks/Herts area near M25 ..
Think I need about 1000sq ft to start.

Possibly..just want to get a rough idea - not sure whether I'd want to have my own place or just tag onto someone else's to start with. Definitely going to have a drive about and see what's around.

If it is true lock up / storage you are looking for I just missed out on a place in Tring that was £200 + Vat and Rates a month for about 250Sq Ft.

It would be nice to have some office area available too, for at least one person onsite fulltime.

They did have larger units, just did not pay any attention at the time because it is not what I needed.

I found a nice place in hitchin, 1250sqft, good location, 4 parking spaces, full height up and over door, £9750+vat+rates.

I'd imagine hitchin is a little under watford prices though.

Sounds similar, we rented a place in Garston of a similar size in 2001 on a 5 yr lease and it was £1k+rates per month.
I'll work on £500 for now while I get started

Garston? Would that be near the Asda Wallmart or the place past Sheepcot lane (I think)? But Watford is becoming a bit too expensive now.
