Anyone know about photocopiers?

Minolta Dialta Di152.

Great machine but recently the oil can symbol has started to glow.

Book says it's the 'maintenance indicator' but otherwise the machine runs with no problems. 'Call your Tech Rep' it goes on to say but I don't want to do that because the machine was a bargain off fleabay a couple of years ago!

Presumably these are like car service lights and they can be turned off if you know how.

Any ideas?

We have a Xerox machine that does the same. Had a quick search on web for engineers manual, reset light and cleaned the rollers and bits out that the service would involve.
