Changing £30k into Danish Kroner - where to go?

Hi all,

I'll shortly need to change around £30k into Danish Kroner. I have a feeling that just rocking up at the high street bank where they're deposited and asking them to change it isn't going to get me the best possible deal on the exchange rate.

I seem to recally this being discussed before, does anyone have any tips as to where to go / who to use for the best rate?

You're absolutely right about the banks, they will normally offer the worst rate on the market.

There's been a few threads on this quite recently, do a search for 'currency' in the business forums only, and you'll find a big list.

Personally, I use purefx.co.uk, good guys, no issues or problems, but there are lots of others too.
