I'm hoping to get down there for the Saturday afternoon rumble. Perhaps a convoy down anyone ?

Due to a last minute change of plan, I'm now planning to head down early Sunday morning.

Is anyone going to be heading from/through Berks early Sunday?

Hi Ed,

I will be going down to Wells on Sunday Morning. I was going to try and get some interest in a convoy at the monthly meeting on Tuesday, the put the details on the website.

BTW: There is a BIG airshow at Fairford nr Swindon on that weekend the traffic will be bad so avoid the area. The A4 would be better than the M4 after Newbury/Hungerford.

Hi George,

What sort of time were you thinking of leaving on Sunday morning? I was reckoning on leaving Finchampstead at about 7:00am in order to get to Wells at 9:00 to join the rumble. I was also aiming to avoid the M4, so was thinking of taking the A4 to somewhere around Quemerford and then heading diagonally down.

Anyhow, I'm aiming to be at the meeting on Tuesday, so hopefully we can discuss details then (I'm tall with not much hair on my head but a bit on my face - hopefully easy to spot!).

Hi the wells rumble will start in well at 9:00 but if you wish to try and navigate you way direct to the crossways hotel you can delay you journey buy a bit.

I will be in wells form 6:30am so there will be someone there if you arive early
