Well as the home region for the event I guess there really ought to be a thread for Bristol.

There are likely to be a couple of "qualifying" rumbles on the Saturday which will roughly be following the route that will be used on Sunday by those starting at the Golden Heart.

I will be going to the Evening doo on the Saturday Night but will be returning to the comfort of my own bed in North Bristol ready for the convoy on Sunday.

If anyone wants to come out to play on saturday, please let me Nacnud (Duncan) or Pebbledash (Mark) know

Cheers Dan

Sounds like your event is really shaping up. I may be able to wander over if I can align my travel schedule. Unfortunately, the Vixen won't fit in the overhead so it will have to stay home this time. Look forward to seeing you then.

Mike it'd be great to see you again. No doubt you would be able to blag a ride in all sorts of stuff, as there should be a good selection of TVR's past and present.

It may mean that your ticket is with Sarah. All Tickets allocated to a region were sent to the RO's.

I'm sure Pebbledash will follow this up, as it is he that has heroicaly(sp) performed the mammoth task of sending the tickets out.

Having said that, I know that we do have 'GOOD' parking for everyone who applied. If you are not on the green you will be either in the market square with the TVR Roadshow Truck, or even better some lucky people will have the privilage of parking in the Bishops Palace!!

Dans spot on, any bristol region members who applied will get their tickets via sara, I sugest you contact here Direct.

Also for thoses that did not apply and have now decided they wish to come, or simply just woken up to this event. There will be (some) tickets available on the day, BUT you must bring a TVRCC membership card to gain these tickets or sign up on the day if you are not a member

Guys

What time is everyone meeting at the Golden Heart on the Sunday morning?

And are we meeting any other regions or rumbles en route?

Lifted from the "Program of events" thread...

Sunday Rumbles
Bristol Section is organising two rumbles to arrive at the green at around midday. Both routes will take in some of the best roads in the area and will include a run up Cheddar Gorge then across the Mendips before dropping down into Wells.
One will start in the wells market place at 9:00 then heading to the Crossways Hotel at 10am before continuing. The other will leave form the normal Bristol meeting point of the ‘Golden Heart’ winterbourne at around 9:45, directions can be found on the Bristol web site www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk

The two rumbles will meet up in Priddy for refreshments before dropping down into Wells.
I suspect there will be quite a few other Tivs aiming for the Gorge at 11:30 ish as well; should be quite a sight.
