Is there a program of events - or is this just
a just up & pose / chat kind of event.
What time is the earliest arrival expected ?
I am available to perform do-nuts or if asked
another party trick is just to make great sounds

. I am writing up a list of things that are happening and a whats on etc, give me 5 mins and I will post it.
In with the tickets is a map and info sheet tickets go out tonight via the RO's (mostly). I am flat out at the moment as nacnuds go off on his weekend jolly to GoodWood, and as I am going sunday I have go to get a move on.

This event is free but there will be a collection for charity (leukaemia research). Any contributions to the collection buckets would be greatly appreciated.
Saturday Rumbles
Two Rumbles will be happening on Saturday. One will start at the Crossways Hotel at 9:30am; going via Exmoor and the North Devon coast returning late in the afternoon/early evening. The other will meet at the lay-by just South of M4, J18 (Bath) at midday. They will end at the Crossways Hotel late in the afternoon or early evening.
Saturday Evening
On the evening of Saturday the 19th there will be an informal gathering, at the Crossways on Avalon, for a bite to eat and some banter. It is casual event and as such there is no dress code or set time for arrival, most people will be arriving late in the afternoon or early evening.

Sunday Rumbles
Bristol Section is organising two rumbles to arrive at the green at around midday. Both routes will take in some of the best roads in the area and will include a run up Cheddar Gorge then across the Mendips before dropping down into Wells.
One will start in the wells market place at 9:00 then heading to the Crossways Hotel at 10am before continuing. The other will leave form the normal Bristol meeting point of the ‘Golden Heart’ winterbourne at around 9:45, directions can be found on the Bristol web site www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk
Sunday – The Event
The event has now expanded beyond the cathedral green for parking. We have been given permission to park in and around the Bishop’s palace if necessary. We have a road closure order for the market place and the cathedral green.
Times for arrival and departure at the cathedral green are restricted: Arrival - between 1:00 and 2:30. Departure - 5:00 onwards, due to the fact that Wells Cathedral is still a place of worship and we have to respect the Sunday services.
The other locations do not have such restrictions but arrival is not recommended before midday. We know it goes without saying but, we are privileged to be allowed to park on the green and in the palace so please treat these venues accordingly.
What to bring
Your tickets, a TVR (doh), and your TVRCC membership card. As we are parking on ‘kept’ grass in the Bishop’s palace, please leave your oil leaks behind (lawn mowers are optional for those with boots).
The Map - There will be one in with your tickets
The enclosed map details the area around the event.
Those parking on the cathedral green itself (holders of a coloured ticket) should enter the area of the green at the point marked A (the top of St Andrews Street). Access to the green itself is at the end o the road via a gate at point B
For all those with a single ticket (white, with the cathedral on it), please make your way around to point C (The market place) where you will be directed to other parking in the market place and in the Bishop’s palace, as required.
The arrows indicate part of the one-way system.
The preferred route into Wells is down the B3139.
The Bishop’s palace
We have permission to park in the grounds of the Bishop’s palace. It is, however, open to the public and there is an admission charge. We have arranged a discounted rate of £2.50 for ALL TVRCC members but you will need to show your TVRCC membership card (or event ticket if you have one) to get this discount.
If the day is fine we are planning to park on the south lawn. The Bishop and the head gardener have requested that any cars parked here do not drop oil. If you are in any doubt could you please bring a tray etc.
Things to see and do
Obviously the bishop’s palace will be open to look around, the cathedral is free. and it’s worth going to look at the clock inside on the hour. Also just up from the cathedral along St Andrews Street is Vicar’s Close, one of the oldest inhabited streets in Europe.
In the center on the high street is the Kings Head, which has a good selection of ‘Real Ales” and pub food. At the bottom of the high street is the ‘City Arms” (the old city jail), the serve restaurasnt/pub food and have a good selection of "guest beers".
Other Things
There a number of bottles being presented for all sorts of bizarre reasons. For example, the "Noise Award" from Ed Tilsley and also the "B3SST N11MBR P14TED TVR" (Cheers to 'Morgan's Mutterings' for that one!) this will be done at 4:30-5:00 details on the day.

Re the oil drips. Don't want to teach granny etc but with my old car, I found a cardboard box cut up and folds in the boot a treat. works for the drips that you don't want to leave behind. Stuff it in a bin bag when done. Less space than a tray, unless a lot of oil is being lost.
Yep thats the idea, just need to make sure all were aware of the type of place we were parking... See you all there. And the Tickets went First class this morning.. Some Direct and LOADS via the RO's.. 170 in total....

Over three days at Goodwood FOS and I can bearly stand up any longer, nevr mind stringing a coherent sentence together. But....
As well as all the things Pebbledash described earlier, there's also a number of things being organised for you all to look at while on the Green.
TVR Time-Line
TVR No. 2 to Griff LE in 15 cars.
Latest Models
All the latest models including a T350T (except for a roadgoing T440R; and we were so close to making that happen). These are all club members cars, not dealers!
Something Special
Earls Court Motor Show Chimaera
Nick Mason's S

Yup....
And parked next to their road going brethren.

Peninsula and Williams will be bringing their demonstrators along on the Bristol rumbles and will be more than happy to talk to you at the Green.
TVR Bodyshop will be bringing a couple of modded Tivs plus some wacky paint sample panels.
and not forgetting the Hog Roast and outside bar....

10:30 !!! i think the two rumbles from the bristol section are going to be there a little after that, but to be honest the rest of the run over the mendips is about 5 miles into wells, Calling Nacnud and dan For details...........
