Pipex problems - anyone else?

I didn't suffer from the problem myself, although did notice on the status page that they had an announcement about the problem.
What I did notice was that I couldn't get on many web sites last night, and only got on PH because I know the IP address. I suspect Pipex had some problems with their DNS too in that case.
(I'm on Pipex Xtreme ADSL, by the way, but have name@dial.pipex.com and name@dsl.pipex.com email addresses)

Finally got through to them to be told our account has been discontinued for non-payment. Now I've been paying for this account for years and no problems, so I wondered why they hadn't contacted me. Apparently they sent me an e-mail to tell me they were about to discontinue the account - which I didn't receive.
I wouldn't mind so much, but I spoke to someone at Pipex last Friday with a tech support query, but for some reason there was no flag on the account to say payment was overdue.
So they'll reactivate me sometime this afternoon - in the meantime all my
work mails will be merrily bouncing back to clients, thereby guaranteeing a steady stream of phone calls later on.
Aargh!! Lucky we don't use them for our Internet connection any more.
