Stroppy printer any idea's?

I have a HP desjet 959c. If i try and print it just sends a blank page through same if I try a test page. Altough on one of the options it prints a test box which I assuming is stored on a chip inside the printer.
Anyone expert in printers Seems to me like a comunication problem but I know nothing

Any Idea's?
