Internet hang

Please can someone tell me how to fix internet hanging when I click on a link which opens a new window. It's driving me nuts!! Only way I can cet round it is restore to an earlier date. I'm running XP........

If you haven't fixed it yet try this - I used Google Groups to look up your problem and although there may be a million reasons - this MS Article seems to be the fix for most IE browser "new window" hang problems.
