Anyone know anything about Merak Mail Server?
Discussion
Our mailserver's been hijacked by spammers, which is more than a little annoying as we've now been blacklisted
What's even more annoying is the we carefully followed all the instructions when we installed it to prevent this, and followed the subsequent suggestions from the tech support folks and it's still relaying
spam!
Bit on a long shot, but anyone here had any experience with Merak Mailserver?

Okay, where to start...?
The server's been configured to only allow relaying from the local IP address, ie 127.0.0.1 - there were other local IP address ranges and the machine's external IP address, but they've been removed. POP3 access has been disabled on all accounts as all they do is forward mail anyhow.
Think we're gonna have to bite the bullet and pay for live support from Merak to get to the bottom of this
Edit: looks like we've got the problem sorted and all the mail we could see being processed was stuff stuck in an eternal retry loop. Just need to get ourselves off the blacklists now
Oh, thanks btw
