have been having some issues on my 1.5m adsl line. i know i get approx 160kb/s download. but when i run kazaalite and azereus (bit torrent) and am say downloading approx 50-60kb/s between them, when i try and browse the net its snailpace or nothing. trying this product out to limit bandwith to certain apps. what peoples thoughts on this and is there any better software/ways of doing this?
cheers

Use it here, works a treat,

gives me proper control over what Apps can and cant use b/w, even allowing for Time Limits on B/W

ie, Kazaa can use more b.w after midnight and before 9am.

Its also great for prioritising downloads.

Limit Faster connections, so you have more b.w for slower apps.

that's what i was hoping for. back in the uk, i had telewest 1mb (went upto 2mb, but loads of grief with connection) and it was great, no problems with any speed, whilst running bit torrents and kazzalite. (running pc and mac over wireless network)but no i am out of the uk have adsl, which i am not impressed with. even though said programs say they are downloading 20kb/s i fell they are hogging more bandwith. well i am trying it out for a month and if good will buy it.
thanks
