I have a A0 Plotter which I have just got, for printing roadside offers and the such (Petrol station with shop).
But I do suffer from drive offs and wanted to know if there is a software which would let me blow this picture up and keep a reasonable quality , the picture size is 105mm xc 100mm and would like to make a roadside poster a0 would be good !
Any ideas

I would say your best bet would be to get a local print shop to blow it up for you.

Good luck and I hope you get this thieving under control.

Any corporate restrictions preventing you from adopting a pay before dispensing policy?. Hard to believe that isn't more widespread considering the incidences of fuel theft.

Take a section of the image equivilent to A4/A5 and print that small section. Use some basic editting software to maybe soften the image up a little and blow it up to A0.

If you post it up on here I hav no doubt someone will do it on photoshop over the weekend

Filling stations traditionally point the cameras so they catch the front of the car. The registration, you see?

All assuming the car isn't stolen/unregistered, on dodgy plates, insured etc
A garage near me has an ANPR camera which logs all the plates

Try either BenVista PhotoZoom, or onOne Genuine Fractals. Either will give reasonably good results for that kind of enlargement. Both work as a standalone application or as a Photoshop plugin. They're both about £70 tho IIRC...

I'd suggest you take legal advice before putting the posters up too - just to make sure your plan is legal.

Thats a result Chris....doesn't get you your money back I know, but the forecourt pics must surely discourage others?

So what? It won't be linked into the police system so the information is gathers is no more useful than CCTV.

Oh dear. I thought your posters of previous thieves may have discouraged others, but apparently not.
