I have a friend of a friend who works within sony, and he can get me a nice LCD TV for almost 50% off RRP. Now, i was looking at a samsung 32' LCD TV which also has a socket on the back so you can use it as a monitor aswell. problem is, Sony don't show that information, does anyone know if Sony's 32' LCD TV, model KDLL32MRX1 can be also used as a monitor?

Need help, as i'm hoping to order one or the other tomorrow!

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Can't your friend find out? If not, try Googling for a pdf of that monitor.

I've got the older 30in model. It does have a PC input which is front mounted on the receiver box. This is good for occassional use with a laptop, but not so great for a permanent connection since the front instrument flap has to be open.
Fabulous looking TV though
