Petrol prices app
Discussion
I just use PetrolPrices.com.
It's occasionally a couple of days out of date, but petrol stations tend to follow a trend as to which in the area are cheaper or dearer, so while the price might not be always accurate, you'll still be getting the cheaper fuel in the area.
I get a random email from the site maybe once a month, so they're not using my address for spamming.

Have a look at Waze. Good satnav and they added fuel prices a while ago.
I've fiddled about with Waze in the past, didn't realise they had added petrol prices. Now questioning whether I should bother. I don't think Waze is perfect but it's undeniably good and importantly they have traction and they're free.
As said above, use the PetrolPrices website.
You'll need to plan in advance though - for example the day before you travel look up a few of the town you'll e passing through and plan your fuel stops strategically.
Having said that, you've got what - a 61 litre tank?
The most extortionate prices are only likely to be 4 or 5 pence a litre higher, so you're only looking at £3 a tank if you can't find the cheapest. As long as you avoid motorway services you'll be fine
