I've got a sony vaio pcg fx702 laptop and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade it to USB 2.0.

Is this possible and will it be expensive?

USB2.0 Pcmcia Card? £20

Sony is a little slack on its USB unfortunately.

Thanks,

Where can I buy one of those from? I don't suppose PC world would stock such an item?

I've seen them in PC World, but they only stock the Belkin ones and they want £70 for them.

£70 is a bit steep! At that price i think I'll just be patient and let USB1.1 take as long as it wants!

I've been looking on dabs.com and they only have for notebooks and it gets a very bad review saying it doesn't work. Don't think I'll bother!

The reason I was looking into it was because I'm thinking of buying an mp3 player and I don't want to wait for ever to get some tunes!

Thanks for your help.

I forgot about ebuyer, I used them recently to buy an xd card reader at a reasonable price.
